Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Knigash, operated by Knigash. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

Knigash is an expense and receipt management tool for businesses and the accountants who work with them. Businesses record expenses and upload receipts; accountants review and process them.

2. Accounts and access

You create an account by signing in with Google or with Apple; no invitation is required. An account by itself gives access to nothing: to see any books you must either redeem an invitation to an existing organization or create your own. You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in with, and for the activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, and if you are using Knigash for an organization, you must be authorised to act on its behalf.

3. Your content

Receipts and expense records you upload remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process and display that content in order to operate the service for you and for the organization the content belongs to.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for its accuracy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Bank statement import

If you connect a mailbox, you confirm you are entitled to grant access to it. Statement parsing is automated and may misread or miss transactions: it is a convenience, not a substitute for checking your own records. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your books.

6. Not professional advice

Knigash is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and nothing it outputs should be relied on as such. Categorisation and reporting features are aids, and your filings remain your responsibility.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and backed up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

8. Deleting your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. What is removed and what is retained is described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
